DREHMO GmbH is one of the earliest professional manufacturers of electric actuators in Germany and Europe. It was originally part of the German EMG Industrial Group. The company was founded in 1946 and has a history of over 70 years. Its headquarters is located in Wenden, central Germany, 60 kilometers east of Cologne and 150 kilometers north of Frankfurt. DREHMO currently has about 200 experienced production and management personnel for electric actuators. In 2012, the company moved to a brand-new factory with more advanced management and automation levels.

In pipelines where liquids, gases or powders flow, different types of valves are needed to cut off or control the flow of the medium. EMG-DREHMO (Drehermo) electric actuators have decades of successful experience in remote diagnosis and control of valves (whether they are globe valves, gate valves, plug valves, ball valves, butterfly valves or dampers) worldwide. Over the past two decades, they have entered the Chinese market along with international renowned power plant contracting groups such as Siemens of Germany, Alstom of France, Babcock of Germany, General Electric of the United States, Mitsubishi of Japan, and Mitsui of Japan, and have been widely applied and recognized by users. Among them, in the largest power generation unit in China in the last century, the 2X900MW supercritical generating set of Shanghai Waigaoqiao, all the electric actuators adopted the products of EMG-DREHMO Company, totaling nearly 1,000 units.

With the continuous development of the market, it has set up offices and engineering service centers in Beijing, Shanghai, Wuhan, Tianjin, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Jiangsu, Lanzhou, Urumqi, Xi'an, Henan and Yinchuan respectively. New offices will be gradually established as needed to provide professional, timely and reliable technical services to customers throughout the Chinese market. The Beijing Representative Office of DREHMO (China) Co., Ltd. is responsible for the unified coordination and management of all business of DREHMO electric actuators in the Greater China region.
